In our movie there is no gun play. David Chase might argue that that this kind of film will not get made. I do not mind watching gun play, but I am a plot guy. A little action never hurt a production, but after a bit, I think, “enough already.”
I am fine with giant half machine turtles, research vessels, and tropical islands. I am fine without explicit sex or violence.
David Chase made HBO millions. I pay them monthly. I watched a documentary about making The Sopranos recently. I would really like to be part of making a movie. But the human cost of making that series? Too much for me.
Imagining a screenplay is more than enough work, you see. I am happy with the direction this project is heading. Respite from electionyearing is a good thing. We have no deadline. We know where our ship is going. We will be fine.
