Better Duck Inn

Now, I did not check to see if there was one anywhere yet but mark the date. You read it here first.

Better Duck Inn…Is all mine. And if I had a willing partner, I’d have that place already.

Bed, breakfast, and boat…for a long time was a dream. A small lakeside inn with a tiny eatery, and all kinds of boats. Might be worked into the backstory of a character someday soon. Our cook could have worked at the Better Duck Inn. Our could have grown up at the Better Duck Inn? How about this? Her father had been a salty dog from way back when, and he took his cook with him, when he opened the Better Duck Inn?

I would rather imagine myself an innkeeper than be one. Just as I imagine Research Vessel Bowser heading for disaster…I can imagine teaching small boat handling for guests at The Better Duck Inn.

And to my fellow creatives, I say the same…Better duck in, as the storm is coming.

I spent half my life messing about in small boats. I fixed them, sold them, delivered them, even gave quite a few away, but I never worked on a Research Vessel. Wrecking one in this project is as close as I will get, unless we harpoon a whale…
