Vibe Killing Storm Coming
Weathering Verses Wrecking
Decisions, decisions, decisions. The plot must thicken. So far, there has been little action. I promised screenplay creating to be relaxing, but something must happen.
Keeping one’s psyche off the rocks is not easy in narrow passages even in calm seas.
Add some terrible weather, and even the most experienced operators can lose control of their vessel. No one would argue that wrecking was better than weathering, except when it comes down to creating a screenplay. Hard to wreck a psyche without some level of human error. For me, damaging anything is a vibe killer.
Yes, we can avoid breaking anything, but what kind of plot line would we have then? Can we have transformation without trauma? Why even bother? If it aint broken why fix it?
I know how to prepare for dangerous weather. I also have been on the rocks before. I have seen survivors and body parts, and much more. Pondering the plot line will not harm anyone, but revisiting traumatic situations is complex, no matter how adjacent or abstract. There is a cost. There needs to be a benefit, our psyches demand as much, even if nature decides otherwise.
